Led by one of Dietrich von Hildebrand's former students, this seminar will introduce participants to the major themes of von Hildebrand's philosophical work. Attendees will have the chance to encounter Hildebrand's distinctive phenomenology, his contributions to foundational issues in ethics, philosophical anthropology, and aesthetics, and to enter into the debates between von Hildebrand and his critics.
Formerly professor of philosophy at the University of Dallas, Prof. John F. Crosby since 1990 has been professor of philosophy and founding chairman of the MA Philosophy Program at Franciscan University of Steubenville; he also serves as Senior Fellow at the Hildebrand Legacy Project.
